John is a true Massachusetts native, born in Boston and raised in Lakeville. However, he has always had a thirst for life, travel, and meeting new people ever since his enthusiastic mother drove the family across the country in an RV three summer vacations in a row. After High School, he was entranced by the culture of New Orleans when visiting Tulane University. He spent two years studying philosophy there, when he decided that communication was more his suit, and that he missed the Boston area too much. Thus, he transferred to Emerson where he studied Journalism and met even more people from around the world as his fascination with culture and people grew. Upon graduation, since he had already seen most of the continental United States, John set out for Asia. He taught English, DJed, wrote and played music in various countries while there, but he spent most of his time in Taipei and Hanoi. John spent a total of 6 years in a long list of countries such as Japan, Macau, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Thailand, The Philippines, Malaysia and South Korea. When John isn't working, he is usually mixing music, reading memoirs, swimming or snowboarding. He is also a big fan of the cuisine in Cambridge and Somerville.
